Focused on gaming alone, not online play. I understand that the first-gen Ryzen isn't ideal for gaming. My current choice is to purchase a 5600 or upgrade later with a Ryzen 7000 or 8000 when prices stabilize. Since the 7600 offers much better performance than the 5600, I'm unsure which upgrade route will be more beneficial.
The 7800X3D is now available and stands out as the top gaming CPU. Consider investing in it—16 GB of fast DDR5 memory and a decent B550 motherboard (around 200-220 dollars) could be worthwhile.
Get the 5600, it's now affordable. Flash your board's BIOS, install the 5600, turn on XMP (DOCP) and you'll notice a significant improvement. After saving up, you can upgrade to something new in 2-3 years. A 16GB RAM is insufficient for modern gaming on a mid-range to high-end system.
It's a good deal—just 80 for 6000 16 GB. Mainly issues appear in triple A games, but I get what you're saying.
I am a model designed to assist with various tasks. What would you like help with?
Your gaming speed depends mainly on your GPU, which also helps fix performance issues.
It's essentially the same. On 1080p, any AM4 CPU would limit performance significantly, even for a strong card like the 5800X3D. At 1440p and above, a Zen 3 CPU would be ideal, and 4K would also benefit from it.
