What I'm expressing is that upgrading can quickly become costly. It seems leaving the CPU in place might be wise until prices drop a bit, and some new releases are coming soon. If you add RAM, opt for something faster (around 3200 MHz or higher) if you're thinking about Ryzen later. Even if you can't use it right now, it might pay off later. If you're planning to go with Intel, slower speeds are acceptable. As Raium_Angel mentioned, check the specs to avoid overspending or wasting money.

I’d consider boosting the GPU and maybe the RAM as well. A 16 GB option sounds great. Your CPU seems to be working just fine.
