Hello, your current setup with an R5 3600 and a GTX 1070 at 1080p seems capable for now. However, as you plan to run triple A games smoothly, you might want to consider upgrading your GPU in a few years to maintain performance. Your concern about long-term reliability is valid, especially if you aim to enjoy top-tier titles without spending heavily. Let me know if you need more advice!

The GTX 1070 should remain functional for another three years or more before AAA titles become unplayable, maybe even beyond that. You probably won’t need an upgrade soon unless you want extra performance for high frame rates or resolutions. The R5 3600 feels like it might outlast the GPU as well.

What speed are you aiming for? Reducing non-essential adjustments is essential until the point where performance becomes impossible.

In high-intensity games, aiming for over 60 frames per second feels achievable. But in fast-paced competitive titles, reaching 100+ fps often becomes the target.
