So, I have a PC I built late November running on a Ryzen 5 3400G. At the time, I thought I would not buy a GPU. It was not enough for me and I ended up buying a GeForce® GTX 1650 SUPER™ WINDFORCE OC 4G. Now, I'm seeing that my CPU is probably a bottleneck for my GPU. I cannot get smooth consistent framerates in Valorant. I'm wondering what is the next move. Ryzen 5 3600 -- 3600 (279CAD) vs 3600 (299CAD) vs 3600XT (329CAD) or Wait for the Generation of AMD (will this require a Motherboard Upgrade) ? I'm in MidTier world right now, but I'd like to play Valorant at 144hz consistently, and right now it's not working. Thanks !
I shared my setup here: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/32483314. My component list includes a CPU, cooler, motherboard, RAM, storage, graphics card, case, power supply, and fan. The total comes to $1036.75 after taxes and shipping. This data was gathered using PCPartPicker on September 2, 2020.
