You're asking about the importance of keeping your BIOS updated on your MSI B360M PRO-VH motherboard. It's a common concern, as updates often address security vulnerabilities and improve system stability. While it's not always mandatory, staying current is generally recommended for optimal performance and protection.

It depends on the changes in the release notes. If a serious security issue has been fixed, it might be worth updating. But usually these updates come from the operating system level rather than BIOS. Often BIOS updates focus on performance enhancements or hardware compatibility. If everything functions properly, an update isn’t necessary. Many users check for updates just to ensure the system runs as intended by the maker. Also, always back up your data and consider a system image before proceeding with any update.

Unless you have specific reason or need to update, I would advise against updating just for the sake of having the latest BIOS, there's always a small risk that something might go wrong during the flashing process.
