Usually reduce the partition size in Windows, then set up Linux in the newly available space. Don’t forget to create a backup first.

Just plug the USB with the ISO into a USB stick, switch the boot device there, install the operating system and you're good to go. To switch the OS later, you usually need to enter the BIOS and adjust the boot settings, depending on your setup. Yes, it is possible.

I'd like to give it a shot too. I don't usually play triple-A titles. I mainly enjoy games like League of Legends and believe it could really help with simplicity, because Windows sometimes has too many features (I really dislike the Microsoft Store...)

@p0r0x also, customization is amazing, and it will not slow down after a few months like windows, and its very very hard to get viruses on linux

During dual boot, an additional boot loader is included to allow selection of the operating system at startup.

It's simple to set up Linux, just use a USB stick, plug it in, download the newest Pop OS from their site, install Etcher, pick the downloaded image, and flash it onto the drive. The whole process usually takes about ten minutes.
