I recently shared my thoughts on choosing between FO4 and Xcom 2, but I haven’t decided yet. Instead, I explored other options, which led me to consider Rainbow Six Siege, Xcom 2, Fallout 4, and Grand Theft Auto V.

Rainbow Six Siege offers enjoyment when played with others, similar to GTA: Online and The Division. Single-player versions feel less engaging, making GTA: Online more appealing on its own. Fallout 4 provides an extensive narrative experience, though it can feel scattered. XCOM 2 delivers a strong gameplay experience if you enjoyed XCOM Enemy Unknown; otherwise, consider GTA V or The Division based on your preference for online or social play.

I'm not great at choosing games, but I really want to try Xcom 2. It seems like the best pick for me, though I didn't have 70€ left for the DLC version. I understand this might not be what you're into—many people think so—but Disgaea PC just came out and costs 19,99€. For fans of that style, it sounds super engaging and addictive. But otherwise, Xcom 2.

Fallout 4 is a solid experience with an engaging narrative and varied challenges. XCOM 1 offered excitement but felt overly slow, leading to quick fatigue. I've noted XCOM 2 as similar and dismissed any corrections. GTA 5 provides enjoyable gameplay but leans heavily into driving mechanics rather than storytelling.
