I considered getting both of us a game to enjoy together. My choices were Rivals of the Aether, Rust (though it’s pricier), and The Forest. I noticed all of them are in early access, but I just wanted to find out. I also thought about getting Ark Survival Evolved so we could play with my other friend, since Ark is more expensive, but I’m not into dinosaurs.
Sure, I'm here to help you find some fun games to play together! What kind of games are you interested in?
Rust can be a great way to enjoy gaming with others, yet it requires significant storage space due to frequent daily updates.
Previously I suggested rust, but things have evolved. During its earlier "legacy" phases, the experience was quite enjoyable, though not overly complex. Now it's more challenging and I find myself struggling to engage with it. Ark resembles rust but features dinosaurs instead. I played it when it had a free weekend on Steam a few months back. It worked fine but had some glitches and felt unbalanced and odd. The forest area looks promising, though I haven't played it myself. With multiplayer now, I've never heard of the other title you mentioned, so I can't offer an opinion. Overall, I'd pick The Forest among those options.
We’re not interested in purchasing a game for both of us at the same time. Let’s just enjoy playing together instead.
They both want to try it at their own homes, which is why we avoid Lan games.
It simplifies the process, though it requires some effort to get started. The investment is worth it when you consider it.
