Windows 8.1 exists mainly because it will likely remain compatible beyond version 7, and staying current is always the best choice.
I put in "Classic Shell," it’s free and in my opinion makes Windows 8 feel like Windows 7. Since I used my Windows 7 license on another device, I was frustrated having to install Windows 8 Pro on my own machine, but after setting up Classic Shell, it works almost like Windows 7.
Startisback works seamlessly within the system, unlike typical add-ons, and offers strong reliability.
This version is a complimentary upgrade from Windows 8.1. Originally, Windows 8 cost £60 and 8.1 was £90. If you spot a cheaper option, you can install it first and then apply the update later.
8.1, skip the awkward start menus and old-school shell tricks. Begin directly. On Windows 7, pressing the Win key launches the start menu—same for Windows 8, just displayed in full screen with the usual look. No need for silly alternatives.
Windows 8.1 is great. Thanks. Lastly, a person who shares my views. Although it doesn’t seem like many agree with Vista—especially since I’ve been using it regularly, it’s actually quite fine now, folks.
