Not particularly focused on Intel, but I've heard Ryzen can have problems in the games I enjoy.

By then the upcoming Ryzen models will also arrive. This could address the problem. What exactly is the issue, though? I haven’t come across anything especially obvious.

Right now I favor AMD. Intel doesn’t seem to be worth the investment anymore.

I enjoy Tarkov and notice people with Ryzen face challenges with hyperthreading since the game favors real physical cores. I've learned that Intel is shifting away from HT and focusing on more genuine cores, which aligns with my preference.

I mean it's tricky to prove a 5% boost in FPS only for gaming; in most cases it's much quicker elsewhere. That claim doesn't hold up. Intel kept focusing on quad-core chips for six years before AMD stepped in with Ryzen. You can get a 3950x with SMT and still have 16 cores for $749, while Intel would cost around $1369 for the same. AMD is clearly prioritizing more cores at lower prices.
