I'm dealing with a friend who's using a Dell Inspiron 3650. They're experiencing thermal throttling after long gaming sessions, likely due to the compact heatsink. Their main game is Team Fortress 2, which is CPU-heavy and also uses integrated graphics. I considered adding a suitable GPU to offload some processing from the CPU, but upgrading to a new PC would be the best long-term fix. I'm curious if purchasing a GT 730 would help and whether it's sufficient for their needs. If not, we'll wait until they can upgrade. Thanks to anyone who can offer advice.
