they offer solid brand names beyond just Oloi and Apacer? I haven’t heard of them before, but they’re important to me since they’re reliable. It’s been a big plus for me—no issues so far, though I did run into problems. For instance, I burned a module DDR3 on the left side, and all connections were fine, but my motherboard was affected. It turned out I overpowered the RAM.

Overclocking can reduce the total ranks, but for identical settings, higher ranks perform better. The first value indicates ranks per stick (typically 1 or 2, sometimes 4 or 8), while the second value shows the memory bus width per chip—consumer devices only support 8-bit DDR4. Using 16 or 4 is not recommended, though it's sometimes incorrectly applied. The actual memory module might still function despite this.
