Apacer isn't really a standard term for DDR4, but Team Group and Patriot are well-known names in this space. While DDR2 models exist with similar branding, they're less popular now. For 3600MHz options, those are still compatible with DDR4 setups.

I recall a friend boosting his 3200MHz Trident Z to 3400MHz with ease, and reaching 3600MHz was feasible though the system showed slight instability. I attempted this with my own HyperX memory, but the setup resulted in a black screen and required a BIOS reset. The controller, power delivery, and cooling components all contribute significantly. Ultimately, I believe any RAM should work as long as overclocking isn't attempted.

If you're open to a different opinion, I wholeheartedly suggest Crucial Ballistix Sport LT or AT sticks. These chips perform exceptionally well with overclocking.

There are eight standard memory die options available on a kit rated above 3000Mhz, and you can also find used units since some models are no longer produced. It's a bit of a chance, as manufacturers only specified these limits. Unless you choose Ryzen 1st or 2nd generation chips, none of these parts will limit performance below 3600MHz. The power delivery and cooling components are also important factors. DDR4 8GB modules typically consume around 2-3W each at standard voltages.

Yes, I’ve tested a PC with XMP 3200MHz RAM and managed to push it up to 3400MHz. The Adata XPG D41 worked surprisingly well. It’s impressive how many motherboards handle these settings automatically.
