Here’s a concise version:
Portability, lightweight, sharp, and affordable.

I'm checking if the valve index will still be relevant when I purchase it today. I'm seeking the top package that includes sensors, controllers, and a headset. Portability, weight, and cost aren't my priorities. I also don't want anything related to Facebook.

Oculus seems to be the last option. What’s your budget? I’m considering just two choices now: HTC Vive or Valve Index. I’ll keep an eye on the news for updates, but so far, there’s no word on Valve Index’s next release.

Awesome, I don't have a specific budget, so the Index is the clear victor out of the two. Also, the knuckles controllers are sick so that's another win.

Great! I understand the situation. I haven’t owned a VR headset, but I’ve only used Oculus.

You can install a Vive and attach the knuckles controllers later, thanks to SteamVR's flexible design. I usually suggest a pre-owned Vive or Vive Pro, along with the wireless adapter, as the cable in VR can be bothersome and it's more affordable.

That's a good suggestion. I'll take a closer look.
