I've noticed my PC isn't quite up-to-date, and it sometimes has trouble running background processes. I picked this CPU mainly because it's affordable and offers a big improvement over what I already have; it's also why I need to upgrade other components eventually.
I’m not aiming to spend a lot on a new GPU since graphics aren’t really important to me. If I do need an upgrade, it should probably last at least until the end of the year because it fits my current needs. I think a budget around £300 for a new one would make sense if I want something practical.
