The person on YouTube mentioned I could gain advantages using the IGPU in an i5-12400 if I edit videos efficiently. They noted it’s affordable but has fewer cores and threads compared to a higher-end chip, though it still offers better future-proofing. You also mentioned your Vegas Pro runs at full CPU even with nvenc, so you’re leaning toward the i5-12400 over the R7 5700X. It’s a tough choice—what do you think?

I’d expect a 5700X. The Intel iGPU is often considered underdeveloped and rarely used in most apps, so adding more cores would be preferable.
