benchmarks indicate TVB performs well when your heating system fails, though the extra 100 watts slightly reduces results. With a well-optimized 8700K, you're nearly matching single-threaded speeds, making the performance gap hard to notice. AMD's claim of a 15% IPC boost—realized with Zen 2 and even more on the original Zen—positions them strongly for dominating gaming.

At 1440p it doesn't matter. Hold off until the upcoming Nvidia update comes out.

I haven't come across many comparison benchmarks, which made my confidence waver. By the way, I recently purchased 100 shares of AMD, and they've increased by 82.2%. I believe their rise is linked to AMD capturing more of the gaming market.

Do you believe upgrading from a 2080 Ti to something like a 3080 Ti would actually make a difference? I heard that a 2080 Ti could handle modern games at lower settings for about three to four years.

This enhancement would provide better speed than a CPU could offer (according to reports). Additional minor adjustments include using Delid with liquid metal for achieving over 5.2ghz and adjusting memory settings.

When your needs aren't very demanding, there are even fewer justifications for opting for the 10900k.

I’ve adjusted the settings already, but I’m really nervous about trying to remove the disk. There’s a chance I might break or harm the CPU.

The GPU usually remains the main limitation more often than not
