It would take more than eight years to see real value from that powerful laptop, since by then it would likely be obsolete. Meanwhile, cloud services are constantly improving. I still find it puzzling how the United States imposes such strict data limits on home connections.

If you don't pay for removing the cap upfront, expect a charge of $10 per 100GB. Going beyond 2TB that month would add an extra $200. I need to handle machine rebuilds carefully. Steam works, but last time I had to reinstall everything on MS and EPIC, which required extra attention and still resulted in exceeding 200GB.

I consumed 1TB last week by myself, I doubt I could handle such frequent restrictions regularly, particularly since I work remotely. My typical monthly consumption ranges from 2 to 6TB, which is why most of it stays within the US.
