Comparing the two mesh setups without Ethernet backhaul, the better choice depends on speed needs. For a 250 Mbps connection, the system with higher bandwidth capacity will perform better.

Based on my use of TP-link products, their gadgets are "average but functional." For WavLink, I've never come across them before today. Take it as you see fit.

I had a single encounter with wavlink. I purchased multiple units, but one did not meet the required specifications. I sent them photos along with voltage readings—these were considered non-conforming, leading to problems. They responded via email requesting a positive review to facilitate replacement shipping. I suggested they "pound sand" in a courteous way and possibly share a review with an accompanying image of that message. Eventually, they agreed to send the replacement without requiring a review. I no longer use any wavlink products.
