I explored the entire system, even wiping everything to a new Windows installation, but the issue persisted. I had attempted a switch recently and ran into a problem named "end kernel panic not syncing." I wasn’t sure if I should change it because I’m not very familiar with programming. I tried using another USB drive this time, leaving the mouse and headphones off, and removed some games to check for storage issues. I’m also testing Pop OS at the moment.

I'm not saying anything is completely hidden. I'm just counting what appears in that screenshot—it's around 1GB of running processes. I'm curious why Opera has so many active processes. If you look into some of them, you might find something unusual.

Thanks for sharing, it really helps boost your confidence. The issue you mentioned was likely caused by a disconnected device or a corrupted system, so clearing space and disconnecting peripherals resolved it. Good luck with the switch!

If you're unsure about dual booting, most Rust servers without anticheat enabled are supported, though Valve is reportedly improving their anticheat features for the upcoming Steam Deck release. Be aware that Nvidia GPU support may be limited, potentially causing some instability—just keep that in mind.

I'm not overly concerned about games lately; I've mostly been playing Genshin Impact and Overwatch. For the past few months, nothing has really stood out. I'm aware those two titles run well on Linux, but I'm not sure how to set up a duel bot drive. I might consider buying a larger SSD soon so I can start learning.

Currently nothing is running, CPU usage is around 6% with no spikes over 10%. Issues appear when I launch Blue Stuck, as it consumes most of the PC's resources. I also use many Genshin Interactive maps, which cause significant lag.

Execute MemTest86, it seems your RAM might be faulty enough for Windows to cope, yet Linux encounters trouble. Overwatch, my performance dropped from 350 FPS to 300. A solid score, though it’s still above acceptable levels and makes sense to try.

That could encourage people to cheat, but honestly I don’t have anyone to team up with for Rust—mostly just Genshin and Overwatch.

6-10% is not what you should see if there's truly nothing open.
