Check if you qualify—if so, try it. It’s an enjoyable experience. Otherwise, skip it.
It's quite good. I haven't experienced any crashes, reached full CPU usage, or faced any problems.
It was just a minor hiccup after hours of playtime. The narrative remains intact (a strong story matters to me), you need to explore various side content to develop your skills before progressing in the plot (so you don’t get eliminated). This requires about a week or more of consistent gaming if you aim for full mission completion. Up until the main climax (I wrapped it up last night), additional quests appear to maintain momentum. Great praise there! Am I as frustrated as I was with Unity? No, actually I enjoy the game, aside from occasional frame drops—it runs smoothly overall. I also tested it on its lowest R9 270x setting using a spare unit; it works fine, though some textures get affected but still allows 1080p play. In short, it really pushes Unity to its limits. Even UBI’s forums have few complaints—just a handful of notes, nothing major.
I picked this over Rainbow Six because of my video card. I really enjoy it. I’ve been trying to resist the urge to play it, though. I’ve spent about 3-4 hours on it, but I still need to wrap up Lords of Shadow. I have 11 hours left for that one, and I don’t like juggling multiple games at once. It doesn’t matter. If you’re into Assassin’s Creed, go for it. If you haven’t played many of them, stick with it. I’ve never played any of these games, but my son has, so I’m familiar with the style. It’s a solid title so far.
