I recently moved from Sky to Virgin. At first, the boost in Mbps was impressive. By the end of the day it seemed to have stopped. I’m considering a new router to replace my just received Hub 3.0. What options under £50 would work well? I can’t use Ethernet.
There's a wall and a door, several meters. I'm not going to be able to use ethernet, logistically and I live at home my mum isn't going to let me have an ethernet cable running from the living room.
I possess a 220Mb/s Virgin connection. I experienced some Wi-Fi problems with the Hub 3, so I opted for a router/AP. I selected the TP-LINK Archer AX10 which functions well so far. Place the Hub 3 in modem mode and connect an Ethernet cable between the Hub 3 and the new router. The new router will now receive the Public IP on the WAN interface.
