Malwarebytes Pro is a better choice than Avast. I just installed it recently and it’s causing a lot of trouble. Their database has too many false alarms.

It’s fine if you stay idle with your PC. Compiling code becomes problematic without it, causing false alarms and halting execution.

Currently I rely on ESET, but it will expire soon for antivirus purposes. I’m switching to Webroot for security. For malware protection, I’ll install Malwarebytes every couple of weeks and run scans with it.
