Hello, I'm considering constructing a new PC to supersede my nearly nine-year-old laptop. I was eyeing the AMD Ryzen™ 7 7700X, which is in stock now and fits within my top budget for a CPU at $379.87. However, I'm starting to question whether it's wise to proceed right away. Should I purchase the 7700X immediately or hold off for the upcoming AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800X3D, accepting potential price increases and possible stock issues? Thanks!
Gaming X3D chips are expected to improve, but you'll need to wait until April for the 7800X3D. The other models will be released at the end of this month (7900X3D, 7950X3D). Keep an eye on reviews and decide when you have time.
