Hey everyone, the audio on my motherboard isn’t working well. Here are my choices:
1. Purchase a $50 PCIe sound card and stick with my current board.
2. Send my current board back via RMA, get a new one, and sell the old one when it comes back—expect around $100 on eBay for the board, and buy a new one for about $175.

Last year I bought a Soundblaster Z for $55 on FleaBay. It functions properly and performs better than the built-in audio, which was all I needed. People might suggest upgrades, but I chose the card itself without any extra components, as those aren't necessary and I didn’t require them. There was an issue with audio cutting in and out initially, but fixing it by removing the glass side panel and adding a CPU fan from an old AM3 cooler resolved the problem permanently. Overall, it was a good investment. If you look around, you’ll find decent deals on soundcards.
