Consider proceeding with overclocking this GTX 960 2GB model.
I tested the PNY XLR8 2gb Gtx 960 with normal firestrike from 3D Mark, and the score came in at 6202 (stock clocks). I then used MSI Afterburner to overclock the system, reaching the card's limits. I ran the test twice—once got 6745 and the other 6800. There’s a noticeable boost of around 6-7 FPS on the graphics tests. It’s worth considering whether that gain is valuable.
System specs for reference:

CPU: i3-6100 (Hyperthreading enabled) – not overclocked
RAM: 16 GB Hyperx Fury black edition DDR4 (8x2 sticks)

Anyone have questions?
Have you noticed any drops in performance during your gameplay? Why are you seeking an OC? Not really, but I thought since most people say the GTX 960 is the ideal upgrade, I wondered why not push it further to get more performance from it. Although I don’t really need it, it’s just my OCD, I guess.
