I enjoy both. If you're not into it, I thought Final Fantasy XIV was a good choice. I don't play games with subscriptions. I heard Tera was fine too.

You quit because you received your final skill at a low level? That doesn’t make sense. Once you reach that stage, you’re ready to play normally without limitations. There’s plenty to explore—like crafting your own story based on the background and race you picked for your character from the start.

Consider giving TERA a try. It offers an impressive combat system and a growing library of content, especially for the US market – visit their site at http://tera.enmasse.com/ and the EU version here: http://en.tera.gameforge.com/news/index

Explore The Secret World, where the combat isn't always top-notch, but the quests are said to be exceptional. It focuses more on thoughtful progression than simple kill counts or item gathering. I suggest Rusty Hearts—it's an anime-inspired hack and slash MMORPG with a straightforward design. I enjoy it for relaxing while still advancing. The music is great and the combat is engaging, though it can feel repetitive at times. It also boasts an impressive soundtrack. Keep in mind, I'm giving it a personal nod, as I haven't played many MMORPGs, but it's gained traction in a community I joined. You're likely to discover something even better if you check other options.

Because you enjoy skillshots, try Wildstar. Its combat system stands out among any MMO. For structured PvE experiences, GW2 outperforms it in every aspect. It faces challenges with PvP and casual elements (besides housing, which is quite interesting).

You won’t be able to obtain your final skill at level 19. Also, weapons bestow abilities. You’ll likely reach elite skills by level 31. Hope you’re enjoying the game again!
