The sole motivation for getting a console would stem from its unique games. I can only imagine that point after another note: Another reason --> Friends play on console --> You wish to enjoy games with friends --> They generally dislike PC gaming --> Grab the console and start playing together.

With friends on the console, you can always edit. And if you play games that don’t gain much from the extra power of the PC or keyboard and mouse.
