It wouldn't improve things and might even make them worse in many ways. Even though I dislike e-cores, I'm concerned about them if Windows 11 becomes necessary for newer titles. Disabling them causes performance drops with the thread director feature, something you can't fully disable. This isn't a problem on WIN10 since it doesn't use that system part, but WIN10 has only two years and about four months left before it stops working. The article explains this is why turning off e-cores hurts performance in WIN11 compared to WIN10. For models like the 13900KS, which already have a strong core setup, this issue isn't as severe.

Did you install the 13900k and turn off all the eco features so you get more powerful cores than the 13700k with many cores?

Raptor Lake with tuned DDR4 B Die offers improved performance, while a 7800X3D with DDR5 6000 GO watch face chaser is faster overall. The review shows real performance gains and the dip is genuine. Watch the full video on YouTube for detailed overclocking results.

It seems you're referencing some opinions about hardware upgrades, particularly comparing Intel and AMD processors. The statement about the 7800x3d highlights its potential value while noting it's not a major jump compared to a 13900K, though it might come with more challenges. You also mention the shift from Intel’s 9th-gen chips with many cores to an AMD setup with fewer but still functional ones. Regarding Windows 10, you’re considering whether to wait or explore alternatives, noting that support has ended for older versions and newer ones are being phased out. Your thoughts on upgrading from a Z370 with an 8700K suggest weighing the pros and cons of Intel versus AMD before making a decision.

As mentioned before, proceed with it—there’s really not much to talk about. Most folks wouldn’t be interested in doing this for minimal possible benefits, and likely it’ll cost you money too. You mentioned temperatures and power, but I assure you everyone is just curious: WHY? That’s the only reason worth discussing here, since the differences are probably small. Ultimately, it’s your decision if you want to go through with it. It’s way too much trouble for me; it doesn’t make sense unless proven otherwise—improvements at this stage seem purely imaginary.
