Hi, english isn't my native language.
I'm starting my first watercooled PC and I'm in a situation where I need to decide where to install the RES.
At first, I thought about putting it next to the VGA, in the rear rack.
This is just an example (this isn't my build).
But then I realized that having the RES near the VGA might cause the water inside to get hotter because of the exhaust air. (This one won't be watercooled either.)
Would installing it next to the radiator make the same effect? The radiator is in the front, and the hot air from there isn't the same as from the VGA?
The radiator is the EK Coolstream XE 360 and the reservoir is the EK-RES X3 150.
The case is the Thermaltake Suppressor F51 Window with PSU cover.

Location won't be a big factor. Place it where space allows. Keep in mind—make sure your reservoir sits higher than the pump inlet so air can't enter. That's the main consideration. Otherwise, you shouldn't face problems with air temperatures warming the reservoir unless the flow is extremely low and no fans are running.

Looking at the picture more closely, this example isn't ideal—ports should be at the bottom. It seems a siphon tube might be inside, but it's still not the best setup for priming the loop.

Otherwise, you aren't going to have an issue with any air temps 'heating' the reservoir unless you have a case with very, very minimal airflow and zero fans.
Looking at this image more closely, this is kind of a bad example - you'd really want that res flipped so the ports are on the bottom. I am assuming there is a siphon tube internally, but still...kind of a bad idea when you need to prime the loop and fill it.
Well, yes that image isnt the perfect for my example, but was the only one that i found hehe. The res that i have isnt like that at all. Im not too worried for the filling, bc im gonna do it only a few times on year.
I have this one
Can i use the top port of the res for the intake of the loop and the bottom port for the exhaust?
(sorry for my english)

Yes, you can utilize the top port in that way. Ensure you connect unused ports as well.
