Do you possess a tool or device that can replicate your setup and push PCI-E NVME performance to its limit? For example, another NVME drive or a 3.1 Gen 2 external unit? If not, performance tests will be the main indicator of gains.

I'm a programmer focused on quicker memory access to cut down compilation times. Right now I'm using the same SSD in a 2700x with Gen3 and everything seems fine. I'm curious if this hardware could be better for speed, but I haven't noticed any problems yet. Wouldn't it be better to go with the newest option?
