Hello, I've successfully achieved 5.2 GHz on my i7 4770K across all cores and completed a 4-hour intense session using OCCT with temperatures kept between 70-73°C. I'm wondering if pushing it further is necessary, especially since my GPU might be the main bottleneck. I can share photos when I'm back home with my power supply and other details.

It's all about the voltage. If you don't mind, you can increase it further, but pushing too much can damage it or reduce its lifespan.

My Geekbench score isn't clear about its quality compared to current standards.

Voltage reads around 1.28, though I believe the maximum is closer to 1.35. This isn't ideal; my first attempt took three days to get stable.

At 1.28 there was enough room.

Do you have the cooling system ready, and has it been disassembled? Just curious.

It's a 240 aio push-pull setup and it's not delidded—I was considering it, but the concept gives me some concerns.

You were very fortunate with your chip then.

You're saying you feel fortunate because you got it second-hand about four months ago for £60.

some chips come with specific boundaries, even when they're identical, so if you aim to overclock you need to be fortunate
