Instruct the system to boot from your Windows 8 disk using UEFI. After installation, update drivers and install the Fast Boot utility from your motherboard’s website or manufacturer site. This setup ensures the system boots extremely quickly—usually under six seconds from shutdown to a fully loaded desktop. Keep in mind, you’ll need to reset all partitions on your SSD and restart from the beginning if you try later.
