Exploring PC gaming now—what titles should I consider? I’ve played some exclusive hits like CSGO and dabbled in modding (Minecraft, custom zombies, etc.), but I’m shifting focus to campaign games that shine with improved visuals. I’m eyeing Tomb Raider (and the sequel), but also curious about other options. I want to skip FPS and multiplayer titles; instead, I’m after a solid single-player experience with better graphics than consoles and an engaging story mode. My graphics card isn’t top-tier, but my 950 should handle at least 1080p in low settings.
Some classic titles still shine today. Never Winter Nights 1+2, Gothic1+2, and Dragon Age Origins are essential to enjoy. These three are a must-play for me—though I’m sure you’ll appreciate the RPG elements too.
The game feels like a shooter with solid visuals and a gripping narrative. Kingdoms of Amalur I was surprisingly well-received, though it leans on familiar tropes—like saying "oh oh oh play GTA, bah!" The graphics are impressive even at lower settings, and the story is compelling. Dishonored remains one of my top picks from recent years.
War thunder, clannad, shadows of mordor, civ V, this conflict, undertale, valkyria chronicles, higurashi, stein's gate, fate stay night (some explicit sections but generally bypassable), witcher 3, metal gear solid v, metal gear solid revengance, skyrim, portal 1 & 2, dark souls, total war series, dont starve, FTL, the sims, osu!,
I can recommend Fallout New Vegas. I am playing that now, great game.
