The issue likely depends on the motherboard, as it controls XMP support. Your G.SKILL 3200 runs at 2133MHz without XMP enabled, which is normal. The motherboard must be configured to allow XMP for your RAM to work properly.

I’m not aware of any RAM that claims XMP support beyond the specifications of the CPU or motherboard. Exceeding the rated speed usually means overclocking, which can be risky if the components aren’t compatible. If your RAM doesn’t work with your board, it won’t accept the profile and might reset itself. There’s minimal danger in testing it.

You often notice a label on the package indicating XMP support, similar to what you see on games like Corsair Vengeance.

That’s not accurate. If your RAM exceeds 2133 MHz, it’s essentially factory overclocked, and XMP simply activates higher speeds above that threshold. Advertising 3200 MHz doesn’t require a label to be recognized for operation.

According to CPU-Z, the RAM frequency is set to 3200MHz, not 1600MHz. XMP hasn't been activated yet.
