Consider postponing the decision. Give it time, at least a week or two.

You need to save the file beforehand since the servers might run out of space. If you wait more than a month or two, Microsoft may not have enough time to resolve the major issues.

It's best to hold off and wait a few weeks before checking for major updates, as there will definitely be new features. The ideal time to download is roughly a month or two after the release, if you're patient.

Hold off until others comment before releasing it, just to confirm it won’t harm your data or turn into a mirage.

I wouldn't recommend Sauron for my PC advice... or maybe just wait a day if you're concerned.

The question remains unanswered because few have sought clarification, despite previous responses being provided.

The latest technical preview performs exceptionally well and serves as my primary operating system. Some compatibility concerns remain, especially with gaming titles. Adobe applications including Lightroom and Photoshop function smoothly, along with cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive, and Steam. Regarding games, I haven’t tested compatibility mode yet, but it might resolve the issues. On another note, since I prefer Windows 10 over Windows 7, it’s clear that this version is superior. The Start menu and screen offer a nice blend of traditional and modern features, while the UHD monitor setup and the option to pin windows into any corner are impressive. Additionally, running modern apps in a window—such as FlipBoard—is now possible on Windows 10.
