I'm mainly into fast-paced shooters like Rainbow Six, PUBG, and Battlefield. Recently I've been considering Skyrim and MGSv. They look enjoyable, but I'm unsure how I'd feel playing them. The only similar experience I've had was Fallout 4, which I loved at first but felt repetitive after the main story ended, leading me to stop playing it. That's made me a bit hesitant about Skyrim. I know MGSv isn't exactly in the same genre, but I'd like to hear others' thoughts. It seems like a lot of fun and a good value for 20 dollars. Any opinions?

Fallout 3's GOTY feels similar to Skyrim, includes all the DLC, and offers various small tasks such as gathering every distinct weapon—though I favor it over Scythe.

Skyrim and Fallout 4 share some similarities, though I haven’t played the MGS version. If you enjoy those games, consider trying Hitman or Payday 2.

I really enjoy Skyrim and have spent many hours playing it. It's great that you're passionate about it and can invest time in such a game. However, ultimately everything you do seems to lack deep meaning. The story isn't particularly impressive, and the game is challenging to recommend since opinions will vary—some people will love it while others won't.

Both options have their merits. My preference leans toward TPP due to Skyrim's frequent sales, whereas MGS isn't as reliable. Note: Skyrim:SE is currently discounted by 50%, making the decision more flexible.

I’d aim for MGSV if that were me. Its fighting and stealth systems are top-notch, making every action count. Skyrim’s combat feels lacking compared to something else, and Metal Gear really stands out.

I downloaded PayDay 2 for free and planned to test it, but it keeps refusing to let me play in 1080p no matter what I try.
