Sure, I also got a 144hz monitor for Christmas, which is great. AAA games are limited by my CPU since they don’t use hyper-threading. That means my CPU stays around 50% while the GPU runs at 80-90%.

i7 9700k performs well in games compared to the Ryzen 7 3700x. The Ryzen 7 3700x offers more threads for upcoming tasks and workloads. As games increasingly require more than 8 threads, the Ryzen 7 3700x will outperform the i7 9700k. This situation is a bit unexpected.
