I've been considering switching to a wireless mouse for a few years because my old wired model has a damaged cable that needs precise handling to function properly. This makes gaming difficult. Logitech offers quality wireless options, but I've been attracted to Razer's gaming mice.
Is there an optimal time to find discounts on these products?
I notice the Basilisk is often ranked highly, though it may not fit my hand well. I recall trying a version of the Viper that felt more comfortable. There are different models of the Basilisk, Viper, Death Adder, and I'm unsure about other options at various price levels. I hope I can find a reasonable deal on a higher-end model.

Could someone explain the variation in price ranges? The model I used for feel cost around $60, possibly an ultra edition, while the professional version was priced at $160. Wireless devices usually cost more. Yet I saw a $70 wireless DeathAdder and I’m puzzled about why it’s less expensive than the $150 model.
I think it might just be the "gamer" version.
