Hey everyone! I’m glad you’re all taking advantage of the Steam Summer Sale. Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition is available for just $7.49. I’ve heard mixed reactions—some compare it to Skyrim but with fewer features, which isn’t surprising. What makes this experience enjoyable? Share your thoughts below! - Sena

Looking for games in the WTB Dragon Age series where you can enjoy without managing a character.

I think it might have been the first genuine RPG in a while, and I really enjoy the combat mechanics. The second one was terrible in my opinion. If you're after a long, solid, polished AAA experience, this is definitely the way to go—just for serious RPG fans.

The Ultimate Edition is an excellent purchase. It includes nearly every DLC, around nine or so. Most add an extra companion or additional quests. One stands out as a massive quest DLC (Warden's Keep). From a story perspective, it’s superior to Skyrim—much more narrative-driven. The open world is more structured, with open areas per level or city and a quick-travel map connecting zones. Some sections feel very open, while others are quite restricted. Overall, it remains one of the top RPGs you should own.

Dragon Age stands out as a favorite among me, and it played a key role in my appreciation for Bioware from the start.

I enjoyed playing only the vanilla version of Dragon Age: Origin a lot. The story was amazing and there was plenty of content. I’d love to buy the ultimate edition, but it’s not available for me.
