I encountered this DEEPCOOL AIO LS 520 offline. I attempted to install the standard air cooler, but it wasn’t available offline at that time, so I proceeded with what I had. I’m unsure if the connection is correct.
The pump sound is unusual; both fans seem to be pointing downwards, though only one might be.
In the BIOS, there’s no RPM displayed for the pump.
One cable is linked to the CPU fan, while another is unconnected and not tied to the pump socket on the motherboard.

The exhaust fan is quite distant, but I’ll try anyway. The issue is I got help for this project from my uncle, though I believe he let someone else take the lead. Now we’re hearing an unusual pump noise—doing this might indicate the AIO unit is faulty or the sound is coming from somewhere else? I connected a 3-pin small wire from the pump to the AIO connector, but it didn’t help. In the BIOS, the pump is set to DC. If we remove the entire radiator and install the fans correctly, will that fix the strange noise from the pump?
Without correct PWM control, the pump could be operating at full speed. Placing the radiator above the pump level means it faces a significant water head load, possibly with air bubbles present. Try keeping the radiator below the pump and run it for an hour to observe any changes. Once the setup with connections and bios is complete, if the noise persists at lower speeds, recommend replacing the unit.
