Arm supports could ease strain on your arms. Hanging from a branch for hours isn't ideal for your arms. Well-fitted ones also aid shoulder and upper back relaxation. Skipping this might cause health problems. For your legs, a strap works well—it pushes you to bend slightly while making it tougher to hide the movement. The main goal is staying mindful of your actions. Regular motion is needed to keep arms and legs functional. That's why it's recommended to pause every hour, stand up, and walk a bit before sitting again.

Choose a compact keyboard to avoid stretching your arms too wide. Use it at an angle, with the left side tilted up. Your fingers vary in size and relying on WASD for a while can feel awkward. Add a wrist rest. Opt for a comfortable chair that fits your needs. A decent one doesn’t have to be costly. I own a Flintan from IKEA for around $60–70. Not every game requires a mouse and keyboard. If you’re not into shooters or MMOs, consider using a controller.

I’m not able to perform any yoga pose, except when I’m playing games on my PC. If you’ve ever seen me, you’d probably think I need an exorcist. Still, I found this comfy chair (Ikea Markus) and hoped it’d help with my bad sitting habits, though I keep ending up in really odd positions.

I rarely play titles needing a mouse or keyboard, since consoles offer the perfect solution. Comfort comes from sitting wherever you like, and I often choose bed for my sessions. More games with native controller support would be a big plus—I’d love to experience god-titles like Banished with a controller. XCOM 2 is impressive, but missing controller support feels like a missed opportunity. In short, the controller is essential; it’s more than just a tool—it’s a passion.

Choosing the right chair to fit your table height is essential for any PC setup. You'll be surprised by how much it influences your comfort.
