Hi, I have an fx8350 with a good setup but I’m aiming for at least 5ghz. I currently use a sentey Arvina gs-6400w, though some online users suggest upgrading. Should I really make the change? What would be best? I’m looking for a big case with plenty of airflow. Also, which watercooler would work well with that case—something powerful to hit the target core clock and keep things cool?

Your other gear:
- EVGA gtx 970 sc (planning to use SLI later)
- Asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0
- Corsair CX600 (should I consider replacing it?)

Feel free to ask more about my current configuration if you’d like. Thanks!

My recommendation is to avoid water cooling and opt for the noctua NH-D15 instead, as it will perform better than most water coolers. I’d suggest a model with a fractal design like the r5, offering a stylish case and solid airflow. For the power source, consider a fresh unit—an EVGA P2 650W is a solid choice, priced around $66, making it a great value for its quality.
