I work with IrfanView, it functions adequately and offers simple features like cropping and compression. It seems to struggle with very high resolutions and scaling issues.

My choice goes to IrfanView too. The site needs some major adjustments to shine, but it’s definitely worth the effort. It offers a wide range of features and customization, runs smoothly with minimal resources (around 2MB RAM and storage), supports many formats, and includes useful plugins for batch processing. I’ve also heard positive feedback about HoneyView, though I haven’t used it myself.

I rely on XNView for viewing images—it offers limited editing features, though I haven’t discovered any that support advanced modifications. I’ve transitioned to a broader category of operating systems and software.
