I observed it’s a good route to follow, but I’m worried: my CUDIMM kit is G.Skill 8800mhz at 1.45v. I’m unsure if it will fit my RAM setup—maybe it will slow down to 8000mhz and run at 1.4v correctly? Or perhaps it won’t work at all. It would be nice to avoid adjusting settings and voltages, just to enjoy lower latency without the hassle. I’d be happy to give up that extra 800mhz for a performance gain.

It seems the video didn’t cover enough details. It appears they’re mainly confirming the higher speed is covered under warranty, which might mean your current memory settings remain unchanged.

Well... it didn’t work as expected with the Intel 200s boost. It functioned when XMP profile 1 was enabled at 6400MHz, giving about 76ns. Switching to XMP profile 2 (CUDIMM 8800MHz @ 1.45V) caused the system to boot twice before reporting it couldn’t boot due to RAM issues—even though it attempted 8000MHz-4. After a reboot into Windows, it faced a significant RAM speed penalty of 4600MHz. I’ve tried enabling the boost and checking all options, but many users with similar setups report needing higher than 8000MHz kits. They suggest support for up to 9000MHz and automatic adjustments for voltage and timing. I’m considering tweaking my RAM settings within the boost menu, or possibly looking for a compatible Z890 or newer kit to see if it can handle the changes. It’s frustrating unless someone can guide me through this.
