I have a Ryzen 7 2700 and an MSI B450 TOMAHAWK motherboard running MSI GSE Lite BIOS. I’m considering switching to an X470 or X570 board because I don’t like the current setup. My main goals are: 1) The board needs to be solid for overclocking, with a 360mm AIO cooler for the Ryzen 7 2700. 2) It should have excellent VRM and power delivery to support that overclock. 3) It must accommodate at least six SATA drives and one SATA SSD—my enthusiast model supports more than seven drives, but I’m budget-conscious and want value. My RAM is 16GB DDR4 3000 MHz with an XMP profile. I’m looking for a balance between performance and cost.

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite and ASUS TUF X570 Plus Gaming WiFi compete closely. For a more affordable, basic VRM option, consider the ASUS Prime X570-P.

Asus offers the Asus TUF X570 Plus Gaming model without Wi-Fi. You can turn off Wi-Fi using the BIOS settings on this device.
