I'm having trouble locating a mechanical keyboard that supports Fn-Lock. Most of them need you to hold the Fn button to use multimedia functions. Also, don't ask about BIOS—it's not there. I've spent years using laptops and they all had Fn-Lock either in the BIOS or on the keyboard. But on PCs it's a real challenge. Thanks.

I examined several keyboards, which cover a wide range of designs, sizes, colors, and features often called bells and whistles. What are your requirements when buying a keyboard? Regarding your FN question, most keyboards with an FN key should include an FN keypad, and you can set up VIA or QMK to assign the media/secondary function as your main action, eliminating the need to press the FN key. Where are you situated? What is your budget for a keyboard? Which online store do you favor for purchases?

I don't match your expectations. I've checked at least a dozen options locally and found none with Fn-Lock. They all include the Fn key but not the lock feature. I'm from Russia, my budget is under $100, and I shop on Ozon.ru.

I think there might be a misunderstanding here. I bet in every situation—whether using a desktop or portable device—a Function Lock Key (or similar key combination) isn’t a real physical switch. It’s just a regular key, and the locking function is handled by the keyboard driver software. This means almost any keyboard could perform this if its driver is configured that way. The issue is that keyboard manufacturers and sellers rarely mention such features in their descriptions. You’d need to look for a driver that supports this function or reach out to the tech support of each keyboard you’re interested in to confirm if it comes with a stock driver.
