My system runs on a 5900X + RX6950XT setup with a 1000W Corsair unit, and I have a 750W Bronze or 650W Gold Corsair as alternatives. I've turned off automatic startup using the steps from that link, thanks. I’m hoping to trigger a BSOD soon. It’s been happening only once before—just two days ago. Back then it produced a minidump file. All other times it didn’t show any BSOD and no minidump. My PSU is a Corsair RM1000E, and the other two I own are a Corsair CXM750 and an EVGA Supernova 650 G3.
The system operates at about 500W, so any PSU should suffice. Your issue seems more related to software than hardware. I’d likely attempt a PSU swap for simplicity, though... You could also try some fixes: open Command Prompt as admin and run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth followed by sfc /scannow.
