Connectors on the front panel are experiencing problems.
I power up the PC using a screwdriver and everything functions properly, but once the front panel is connected and turned on, no display appears even though the CPU and GPU fans are active. The motherboard in question is a Coolermaster nr200 with an Aorus B550i chipset.
Check if your PC case’s pin layout aligns with the header block on your NR200 case. The model features a compact connector design that can be removed, but it may not fit certain motherboards. A resistor or LED might be attached to one of the reset or power sections.
The markings align with the directions on your motherboard or manual, which means it’s not the problem there. I’m also not sure how to separate the component to test each part separately.
It looks promising overall! (Manufacturers have improved their standardization of front I/O pin positions recently, though occasional issues still arise.) Since your board likely lacks debug LEDs (or they weren’t mentioned in the manual), that won’t help much. You might want to reach out to Cooler Master to request a compatible front I/O module for the case you’re using. It’s possible the module you have is faulty, even though it seems to work fine when power pins are shorted.
