type-c adapters for charging rj45 are ideal since phones are often connected continuously. You can configure them to turn on Ethernet tethering automatically. If you're using an Apple device, consider linking it to a dual-NIC router. Or choose a model that runs OpenWRT, allowing you to manage networks with different apps.
